Erin Hutton is a landscape designer and owner of Rocket Garden Landscape Design, LLC. Erin earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona and worked as an engineer in the telecommunications industry for 16 years. After discovering a passion for desert plants, she completed the Desert Botanical Garden’s Desert Landscaper School Credential Program in 2009. Today, she is an instructor for the Desert Design Credential at the Garden, and has taught a number of the Garden’s public classes, such as SketchUp, Meditation Gardens, Curb Appeal, and Home Landscape Design. Erin also teaches design workshops for the Cities of Tempe and Glendale. She is a long-standing member of the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).
